Certificate in Anglican Formation

Welcome to the Certificate in Anglican Formation! This certificate is designed for both clergy and lay leaders in the Anglican Church, integrating theology and practice. In this institute, you will learn about key aspects of being an Anglican, foundational polity, faith, and practice. You will walk away with a firm grasp on how what you have learned impacts you spiritually, relationally, emotionally, and vocationally. This will be accomplished through your individual relationship with a mentor, engaging discussions with your cohort, and your own individual reflections that accompany each module.

Experiential learning is central to every certificate offered through Asbury Theological Seminary. In this certificate, you will learn about:

Ordained Ministry
Anglican History and Polity
Anglican Faith
Anglican Prayer Book

The Certificate in Anglican Formation is a 10-month certificate offered solely online, reaching you wherever you are. Upon successful completion, you will be granted a non-degree certificate from Asbury Theological Seminary. Cohorts are offered twice a year.
