The Asbury Worship Conference

Asbury Institutes has partnered with the Worship Department at Asbury Theological Seminary to bring you The Asbury Worship Conference! On January 30, Asbury Institutes will host a virtual event focused on songwriting and worship music. This event will feature a conversation on songwriting as well as a songwriting workshop. The discussion and workshop will feature several panelists with experience in worship and songwriting, and the event will be followed by an interactive discussion on Zoom open to anyone who would like to register and join.

And here’s the exciting part – we want to workshop your songs! If you’ve written a worship song and you want feedback, submit your song to us on our Asbury Institutes registration page by providing us with a link to your song in the comment field as well as a copy of your lyrics.  Submission deadline is January 8, 2021. The panel, along with the Asbury Institutes team, will choose 3 songs to workshop during the event, and one song will be chosen to be sung in Chapel at Asbury Theological Seminary in the Spring 2021 semester.

If you want to be a part of this event, and you’ve never written a song, we’d love for you to come as well. There is no expectation of musical or writing experience. We just want to create a space where we can engage songwriting for worship and learn together.

This event is FREE and open to anyone who would like to register.  Please register for The Asbury Worship Conference on our Asbury Institutes Registration page.  We hope to see you soon!
